With the promise of a groundbreaking new physics engine, coupled with amazing in-game visuals and motion features, authenticity and realism were critical to the package art. The dynamic cover illustration creates an epic clash between legends Muhammad Ali and Iron Mike Tyson, bringing to life the intense action, spotlights and sweat from the ring. Extensive HDR retouching was required to merge the 1966 photo of Ali and the 2004 image of Tyson into a seamless composition.

Electronic Arts called upon Popgun in late 2007 to develop packaging concepts for The Sims 3 that would communicate the new and innovative Sims world while still retaining the irreverence and lighthearted fun that the Sims visual language has come to represent since its debut in 2000.
